UX testing is where i will gather 5 people (minimum) to test out the website of my choice which is “Apom”. Here i will collect data of their feedback whether its good or bad and divide it into 2 parts which is qualitative and quantitative. I also gather their opinions in terms of design and suggestions. Lastly, with the suggestion given i’ll redesign it what they have said.
User Interview
I’ve gathered 5 people (my friends) which Alex, Nathan, Aaron, Charlie and Sheikhan to test out the website. What i do is I gave them a task to purchase an item and asked them to narrate throughout the whole progress, I screen record their progress and once done, i transcribe their voice and did heuristic markup about their opinion. (Good feedback (experience and design), bad feedback and improvement suggestions)

With the markups, I’ve divided them into 2 parts which qualitative and quantitative. The green and blue markups is for good experience and design respectively. After that, I arrange them into 6 parts which is opinions, time spent, sentiment, task completion, behaviour and goal completion for more particular research.

Last part which my favourite, redesign based on their suggestions. From the interview, i’m able to detect similar opinion and recommendations meaning that there are obvious flaws exist in the website itself. Plus, i also learn that everyone has different suggestions as well and some of them are very creative in giving improvement. However one person (Charlie) doesn’t give any suggestion regarding the experience as he said “it’s all good” but he did gave regarding the design. No redesigning by him because our focus here is too create much better experience for future use.
